Lambada class levels
Choosing the right level Lambada dance level is the key to advancement the hardest and most important aspect of learning to dance is the foundation. It takes time but when firmly built, you will find the more advanced levels both enjoyable and more managable. Further you will be showing respect to those students who are at the correct level and require partners at a similar level of experience. You will progress more quickly by not rushing the levels
Beginners: Recommended for students with little or no background of partner dancing. Introductory level teaches the necessary steps to dance LambadaZouk in time to the music, along with a basic repitoire of movement, neccassary to dance with a partner.
Beginners Plus: More of a focus on strengthening basic technique at a comfortable pace. Simple routines are taught in order that the beginner can master good lead and follow technique and enjoy dancing with a partner at a fundamental level.
Improver: This class will helps students to accomplish slightly more involved routines at a faster rate. Students are encouraged to develop feeling and expression in their dancing to bring their dancing to the next level, this will involve more footwork and hip movment.
Intermediate: For students who have already reached a certain dance aptitude they are able to move freely through basic routines and have a feel for the music, demonstrating an abilty to keep time! Teaching at this level will involve more complex dance movements that will require a degree of flexiblity. There will be more emphasis on body movement of the hips and torso and head movement for ladies will be introduced. Students will experience a more vigorous and challenging choreography at a fast pace.
Advanced: A fast-moving class for those students with considerable experience. Much time will be given to the students with a view to them developing a commendable technique. They will master complex routines developing their style and technique. Full mastery of body movement and musicality will be attained!
